Hawks Track and Field have a very proud history. Starting out as Hamilton Athletic Club in 1895, and celebrating it’s centenary in 1995, the club merged with Hamilton Harrier Club in 1998 to form Hamilton City Hawks.
The club won three National Athletics League titles in the 1970′s and finished a close second in 1995. …
Children’s Athletics
Hamilton City Hawks have two childrens sections that operate from mid-October until mid-March during school term time each summer:
Both sections use the Run Jump Throw Athletics philosophy of teaching basic skills. Children can also compete on Saturdays at various Ribbon Days and championship competition throughout the summer.
